TFT Patch 10.7 Breakdown: The Rebellion Gets Crushed
By Josh Tyler
Origins
Dark Star
"When a Dark Star champion dies, all other allied Dark Star Champions gain 25/35 Attack Damage and Spell Power"
Jesus, I though Dark Star was sleeper OP before (seriously, Jhin with IE, GA, and Bloodthirster, he never dies). Now, Dark Star might actually be mega-broken if you can keep your carries (Shaco works as well with IE and BT) alive.
Chrono
"Attack Speed: 15/35/65% ⇒ 15/35/75%"
6 Chrono was a very underrated comp in my opinion, particularly if you got a 3-star Caitlyn or TF early. It paired really well with Blademasters and/or Cybernetics, so I would expect that possible comp to rise slightly in priority.
Classes
Mana-Reaver
"Mana-Reaver attacks increase the mana cost of their target’s next spell by 40%. There is no longer a 4-piece bonus."
Massive buff to Irelia, who now gets the full Mana-Reaver benefit without needing to load up the comp with other Mana-Reavers. This also likely means goodbye to Darius outside of Pirate comps and goodbye to Kassadin unless Celestials actually matter again.
Blademaster
"Chance to activate: 30%/55% ⇒ 30%/60%"
I think 6 Blademaster was a perfectly viable comp in Patch 10.6 with how strong Kayle and Irelia are, so this just makes that stronger.
Brawler
"Health: 300/750 ⇒ 300/700"
Blaster/Brawler comps became a bit of a fad comp late into Patch 10.6, so Riot is hitting thier power a bit. Personally, I think the Blaster portion is more significant than the Brawlers, as most Brawlers are fairly underwhelming.
Mystic
"Magic Resist: 30/120 ⇒ 35/105"
Hmmm. I didn’t think Mystics were particularly problematic for the meta in Patch 10.6. I’m guessing this is to indirectly hit the power of Rebel comps (via Sona) and Lulu (who is a great unit to play in general).
Sniper
"Bonus Damage: 12% ⇒ 15%"
Don’t mind me. I’ll just be walking around my room saying “four” over and over again for no reason.
