Buffed Champions

Akali

The cooldown buff to her Perfect Execution helped slingshot Akali up into the low-C tier, but she hardly took a big leap forward in this patch. Her win rate has only improved by 0.6% and is still hovering around 46% overall.

Corki

Now Corki’s buff to his Special Delivery (increasing the burn hit duration) did have a massive impact, as we noted above. He is firmly out of the F tier, but he has not seen any significant improvement to his win or pick rates.

Galio

Nice buffs to his Hero’s Entrance helped pull him all the way out of the F tier into the B tier. In addition, his win rate is up almost 4% and his pick rate has more than doubled.

Nocturne

Small base stat buffs were aimed more at his jungle power than mid lane. Unsurprisingly, Nocturne mid is still a (strong) niche pick in our mid-B tier.

Nerfed Champions

Garen

Yes, he is in the mid lane tier list this patch and he actually did get a nice boost to his ranking (up to high-B tier from D tier) despite the fact that the adjustment to his Decisive Strike was an overall nerf and his Passive got nerfed. His win rate and pick rate are down, so why is he moving up our tier list? Well, he’s one of the biggest counters to the recently-buffed Akali.

Talon

Surprising that Riot finally took aim at Talon, nerfing the damage on his Rake, after being such a strong S/A+ tier pick for a while now. His win rate is down over 1% from the last patch as a result of the nerf, as is his pick rate. As far as our tier list goes, Talon is down into the A tier from being A+ last patch, meaning he’s likely still a strong pick.

Wukong

No shock that Wukong got nerfs after coming out of the rework so strong. As far as the mid lane, his pick rate and win rate have both dropped off from last patch and he remains a D tier pick in our League of Legends tier list.
