Buffed Champions

Akali

Buffs to her Perfect Execution’s cooldown may have helped both Akali’s ranking (she moved from low-D tier to mid-C tier) and pick rate (it nearly doubled in Patch 10.7) but she still has the second-worst win rate in the top lane. She is potentially strong, but it’s too early to dub the buffs successful as of yet.

Nasus

Small buffs to his Wither’s range and the armor shred on his Spirit Fire got D Cane up into our mid-B tier. In even better news, both his win rate and pick rate are up significantly after the patch. His 51.6% win rate is actually in the top ten for his role!

Riven

Some base stat buffs have helped Riven’s laning a decent amount, but didn’t really do much for her ranking (she’s still in the mid-B tier). However, we should note that her win rate is up by over 2%, so there is potential that she will rise further in the next patch.

Nerfed Champions

Garen

Nerfs to his Passive and the movement speed duration on his Decisive Strike early knocked Garen out of the S tier, as mentioned above. As a result of the buffs, his win rate is down 2% and his pick rate is down 4%.

Wukong

Even though Riot took aim at Wukong’s insanely strong Passive and the damage on his Nimbus Strike, he remains one of the most dominant top laners in the meta. He is not only an S tier pick in our tier list, he’s also in the top-15 for win and pick rates for the top lane.
