League of Legends: 5 Best ADC Champions on Patch 10.9
Here are the 5 best ADC champions on Patch 10.9 for carrying games and climbing the League of Legends solo queue ranked ladder!
The best ADC of any given meta is often the most popular champion in League of Legends at that point in time as players dive into the bot lane, attempting to grab Pentakills and 1v5 their opponents. So, who is the best ADC champion on Patch 10.9?
For a one-off change, instead of describing the champion and how they get the better of their ADC counterparts, we’ll be doing a mini-guide for each champion. This includes rune pages, skill order, and important items to purchase!
5) Varus
50.43% Win Rate | 11.2% Pick Rate | 9.6% Ban Rate
Rune Page
Lethality Varus is the preferred build right now which has quite a drastic impact on the Darkin Bow’s rune set-up. For more effective poke, start with Arcane Comet as your keystone, followed by Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Scorch. Complete the page with Magical Footwear, Biscuit Delivery, 2 Adaptive Forces, and an Armor.
Skill Order
There’s really only one choice when it comes to abilities to max first and it’s Q – Piercing Arrow for maximum poke and damage output throughout the game. Next, it doesn’t matter too much, but E – Hail of Arrows is more likely to have an impact than W – Blighted Quiver.
Essential Items
The clue is in the name – Lethality Varus. When in doubt, purchase a Serrated Dirk. Outside of that, go for an Umbral Glaive for damage, Boots of Swiftness to close the gap to land long-range Arrows, and Youmuu’s Ghostblade for mobility. Finish off with Duskblade of Draktharr, Guardian Angel, and Lord Dominick’s Regard.
4) Jhin
51.45% Win Rate | 14.4% Pick Rate | 4.2% Ban Rate
Rune Page
Keeping on top of his target and remaining in range for auto-attacks is vital for Jhin, so it’s clear to see why Fleet Footwork is the perfect keystone for the champion. The rest of your runes should include Triumph, Legend: Bloodline, Coup de Grace, Nimbus Cloak, Gathering Storm, 2 Adaptive Forces, and an Armor.
Skill Order
Some Jhin players believe that waiting as long as possible to level up E – Captive Audience is the ideal strategy as it is a pretty useless ability. If you follow this route, prioritize Q – Dancing Grenade before maxing W – Deadly Flourish second.
Essential Items
To close the gap between you and your fleeing enemies, start off with a Stormrazor to slow them with your first shot. Make their life miserable by combining this with Boots of Swiftness. Finally, complete your build with crit items like Infinity Edge, Rapid Firecannon, and Phantom Dancer before grabbing a Guardian Angel.
3) Yasuo
53.40% Win Rate | 2.6% Pick Rate | 49.1% Ban Rate
Rune Page
Yasuo just won’t leave marksmen alone as he retains his place in the top five bot laners on Patch 10.9. Conqueror plays a big part in his early game damage which goes alongside Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup de Grace in the Precision tree. Finish your runes off with Taste of Blood, Ravenous Hunter, Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Armor.
Skill Order
This one is fairly obvious. Q – Steel Tempest is by far Yasuo’s most important ability and needs to be maxed first in all situations. Then, level up E – Sweeping Blade for increased mobility when navigating through minion waves and team fights. Finally, put points into W – Wind Wall because you can’t put them anywhere else.
Essential Items
Build 50% crit chance as soon as possible, grabbing Berserker’s Greaves, Infinity Edge, and Phantom Dancer in the opening 20 minutes. Complete your build with Death’s Dance, Guardian Angel, and Frozen Mallet for maximum damage.
2) Vayne
51.00% Win Rate | 14.1% Pick Rate | 13.7% Ban Rate
Rune Page
Three auto-attacks to proc Silver Bolts, three auto-attacks to proc Press the Attack, a perfect match! Your keystone should be followed by Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Coup de Grace, Taste of Blood, Ravenous Hunter, Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Armor.
Skill Order
Max W – Silver Bolts first to maximize Vayne’s damage, particularly to high HP targets. Follow up with Q – Tumble to increase her mobility and number of auto-attack resets, then E – Condemn.
Essential Items
Vayne has a pretty rigid start when it comes to items as Berserker’s Greaves, Blade of the Ruined King, and Guinsoo’s Rageblade are all pivotal to her build. After that though, it’s up to you, but it’s worth considering Phantom Dancer, Infinity Edge, and Guardian Angel.
1) Miss Fortune
51.91% Win Rate | 21.8% Pick Rate | 9.8% Ban Rate
Rune Page
Miss Fortune remains an S tier bot laner on Patch 10.9, who would have thought she’d be the #1 AD Carry of 2020? Her lane damage is a large reason for her presence in the current meta, which is aided by her rune page of Press the Attack, Overheal, Legend: Bloodline, Coup de Grace, Nimbus Cloak, Gathering Storm, Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Armor.
Skill Order
Much like Jhin, many consider it to be worth ignoring E – Make It Rain until you’re forced to put points into it, focusing on Q – Double Up for damage in the laning phase, then W – Strut for extra attack speed.
Essential Items
It’s a normal crit build for MF, starting with Essence Reaver, Berserker’s Greaves, and Infinity Edge. Close with Rapid Firecannon, Guardian Angel, and Mortal Reminder.
