Trait Changes

"Mech-Pilot Attack Damage: 100% of Pilots’ Attack Damage ⇒ 80 + 45% of Pilots Attack Damage"

This removes a lot of the damage from the Mech and destroys that full tank Rumble build that a lot of players have been abusing. With the right items, the Mech can still be a great frontliner, but I do think this heavily hurts the Mech-Pilot comps.

Infiltrators

"Infiltrators now jump regardless if there is a target within their Attack Range on start of combat."

If you ever noticed your Infiltrators not jumping to the backline, this is why. It’s a quality of life change, but ultimately this is a solid buff.

Rebel

"Bonus Damage: 10%/12%/15% ⇒ 10%/15%/20%"

Rebels have actually been a sleeper-strong comp in the previous patch, but now they’re getting a boost in Patch 10.10. With Jinx as one of the best DPS champions, this comp could rise right back to the top this patch.

Space Pirate

"(4) Item Drop Chance: 20% ⇒ 25%."

4 Space Pirates is one of my favorite “fun” comps to run in TFT because of how quickly you can fully itemize your big carries and now it’s even better. I don’t think this will be meta in Patch 10.10, but if you want to run this comp you’ll probably be in a better spot.

Tier 1 Champions

Poppy

"Buckler Toss Damage: 100/175/250 ⇒ 100/150/200 Buckler Toss Shield: 200/350/500 ⇒ 200/300/400"

Get your free LP from abusing Poppy and the Candyland comp now folks. Come Patch 10.10, she looks to be nerfed into oblivion, losing 100 health off her shield at 3-stars.

Twisted Fate

"Wild Cards Damage (per card): 200/300/550 ⇒ 200/300/450"

RIP to TF. His power in Patch 10.9 was solely due to him being in that Candyland comp that was built around Poppy. With her and that comp gone, expect TF to be relegated to irrelevance. This nerf only hits him while he’s down.

Xayah

"AD: 55 ⇒ 50"

She’s been carving up opponents in TFT, so Riot took a fairly conservative nerf to her. However, I think Blademasters are going to continue to be powerful, though Xayah may not be central to as many comps.

Ziggs

"Total Mana: 45 ⇒ 40"

Ziggs is still a fine early game carry unit and this only helps him. With Rebels also getting buffed in Patch 10.10, I can see Ziggs re-emerge as one of the premier carry units to build around or hyper roll for.

Tier 2 Champions

Yasuo

"Health: 600 ⇒ 700 Total Mana: 100 ⇒ 90"

Yet another Rebel getting buffed in the same patch that his best synergy is getting buffed. In addition, Yasuo is a Blademaster, which is one of the strongest traits in TFT. Expect to see him rise in prominence in this patch.

Tier 3 Champions

Karma

"Attack Speed Bonus on Shield: 35/50/100% ⇒ 50/75/125%"

Karma has definitely been on the weaker side after some of the Dark Star nerfs, but in general, I think she’s still a solid Mystic to have in a comp. With Star Guardians losing power, I foresee Lulu/Karma being the power couple of Mystics.

Syndra

"Unleashed Power Damage (per orb): 80/120/200 ⇒ 100/150/250"

This is a nice buff if Star Guardian/Sorcerers ever comes back into the meta. For now, in Patch 10.10, I wouldn’t expect this buff to be impactful at all.

Tier 4 Champions

Kayle

"Divine Ascent Waves Damage: 125/200/750 ⇒ 125/200/600"

Nerfing Kayle makes sense but losing damage at 3-stars is basically useless.

Vel’Koz

"Spell Damage: 425/550/2000 ⇒ 450/600/2000"

I’m on board with this buff. Vel’Koz has not been a strong Sorcerer even when the Star Guardian/Sorcerer comps were in the meta. Small buffs at his early ranks make sense.

Wukong

"Cyclone Targeting: now prioritizes hitting the closest enemy he hasn’t hit yet rather than a random one."

A nice quality of life buff. Nothing major, but it helps Wu spin a little more consistently.

Items

Chalice of Harmony

"Mana Restore: 10 ⇒ 8"

RIP Mana Printer Sona, we hardly knew ye. Honestly, though, this nerf just further pushes a niche item out of the meta. The real problem is the interaction with Sona since she is the only champion that uses it effectively. Nerfing her (higher mana cost) was probably a better option.

Deathblade

"Starting Stacks: 0 ⇒ 1 Deathblade now displays the amount of Attack Damage gained rather than stacks"

Riot should honestly rework/scrap this item. Just a few patches ago, the item was getting buffed to have more stacks initially and now it’s down to zero. Because Riot just cannot balance this item, it should be removed or reworked.

Morello & Red Buff

"Damage Burn: 27% ⇒ 25%"

These items keep getting nerfed because healing is just too damn strong in this meta. I wouldn’t expect a 2% decrease to the burn damage to really eliminate them this patch.
