Here are the 5 best junglers on Patch 10.10 for carrying games and climbing the League of Legends solo queue ranked ladder!

Earlier in the season, the jungle was a mess and only the strongest of early game bruisers could compete. Then, after the Bami’s Cinder buffs of Patch 10.4, tanks started to make their way into the viable champion pool. Now, on Patch 10.10, AP champions have suddenly appeared in our best junglers list, making the jungle champion pool as diverse as ever.

Regardless of which champion you’re playing in the jungle, you have to have an impact on the early game. Be it aggressive, incessant ganking or stealthy jungle tracking, guiding your teammates through the laning phase is your priority as a solo queue jungler.

All five of these champions can do exactly that and are strong enough to consistently win you games if played correctly:

5) Evelynn

50.66% Win Rate | 6.3% Pick Rate | 12.1% Ban Rate

The first of two AP junglers on this list is Evelynn, the Agony’s Embrace. The demon jungler has an exceptional clear speed which allows her to navigate the early game as quickly as possible in order to gain access to her Demon Shade, Last Caress, and Runic Echoes.

At this point, Evelynn becomes every carry’s worst nightmare as casts Allure from invisibility and threatens to dive onto the enemy backline with huge DPS with Hate Spike and Whiplash.

To make the most of Evelynn, wait until after a team fight has started before casting Allure as this should mean peelers are distracted so the enemy carries become an easy target.

4) Master Yi

50.67% Win Rate | 5.2% Pick Rate | 16.5% Ban Rate

Similar to Evelynn, Master Yi boasts one of the strongest early jungle clears in League of Legends. But, while many think of this as an excuse to power farm the jungle and have zero impact on the map until 3-4 items, it should be the opposite.

Yi is best utilized by seeking out the enemy jungler for duels and outplaying them with Alpha Strike and Meditate. By winning the jungle 1v1 you gain control over the map, alleviating pressure from your teammates, and having complete priority over neutral objectives.

Once you’ve played a few games with the Wuju Bladesman, you should be confident enough to dominate team fights, dodging crowd control with Alpha Strike, and quickly shutting down enemy squishies.

3) Elise

50.58% Win Rate | 8.8% Pick Rate | 18.2% Ban Rate

Elise is the perfect solo queue jungler. Her clear speed is good, her dueling is better, her ganks are among the best in the game. Follow these steps to win games on Elise:

  • Farm until Level 3.
  • Walk towards a laner without an escape tool in Human Form.
  • Throw out a Cocoon as late as possible.
  • If they Flash, come back later. If they don’t, Rappel onto them and blow them up with your teammate.
  • Repeat.

It’s that simple!

2) Kayn

51.12% Win Rate | 13.1% Pick Rate | 18.3% Ban Rate

Kayn’s enjoying a rare spell in the spotlight after receiving some substantial buffs on Patch 10.9. The Shadow Reaper was previously gated by his transformation time, but now has the damage to compete at all stages of the game.

That being said, if you’re going to pick Kayn in your future solo queue games, playing around your transformation is key. You will be weaker than every other jungler during the first ten minutes, so time your ganks carefully and be sure to track the enemy jungler at all times.

1) Graves

51.23% Win Rate | 17.2% Pick Rate | 36.0% Ban Rate

Graves is back, unfortunately. The ranged jungler can compete with any opponent in the early levels making him an ideal pick for solo queue snowballs.

In duels, be sure to maximize the bonus armor from Quickdraw’s True Grit to out-damage your opponent and gain an early gold advantage to spread across the map.
