Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen (Jungle, Team Liquid)

It should be no surprise that at least one member of the underachieving TL team that missed the playoffs in the spring would make this list. Broxah was one of the biggest acquisitions of the offseason, brought in to bring TL over the hump in international play just has he had done as a part of Fnatic in the LEC. Instead, TL suffered one of the most embarassing collapses in LCS history, leading them to jettison Doublelift and revamp their entire coaching staff.

Many are quick to give Broxah a pass for this momentous failure, but looking at his performance during the 12 games he played, there is a lot of reason to be concerned. He posted the worst kill share among all junglers and one of the worst gold and experience differentials at 15 minutes. He was below average in damage, gold, and vision, while at least limiting his own damage by not dying too often.

I will agree that Broxah’s subpar play in the spring was due more to circumstances than individual issues. He was dropped into a team that was already floundering, lost a third of the Spring Split to gain synergy with his teammates due to visa issues, and when he did arrive TL was basically fractured beyond repair.

There is a lot of hope that with a fresh start in Summer 2020 he’ll return to that form he had back in the Summer of 2019 with Fnatic. For TL’s sake, they had better hope so.
