Rising Picks

Two champions got big boosts to their ranking in Patch 10.12: Taliyah and Morgana. Though both were untouched in this patch, they both moved out of the F tier into the D tier, with Taliyah being a borderline-C tier pick.

Dropping Picks

Yasuo took the biggest drop in his rating, falling out of the S tier. That said, he is still in quite a strong position, as an A+ mid laner.

Underrated Picks

The mid laner in A tier or higher with the lowest pick rate is Vladimir. He sits just above a 4% pick rate despite being an A+ pick in the current League of Legends tier list.

Overrated Picks

Sylas remains an overrated pick, joined by the long-time overrated pick Leblanc, but both of them pale in comparison to Akali. I know she was just buffed in Patch 10.12, but a C tier pick shouldn’t have a 6.5% pick rate.

Buffed Champions

Akali

As we just alluded to, the buff to her Five Point Strike brought Akali into the C tier. It’s a slight improvement from the last patch, but she didn’t move up any tiers as a result of being buffed.

Brand

The buff to Brand’s Passive mana restore finally brought him into the mid lane. Yeah, he’s only an F tier pick and no site rated him above C tier, but hey…progress.

Viktor

Buffs to both the damage and shield on his Siphon Power helped bump Viktor up a bit, but unfortunately, he still sits below the C tier.

Nerfed Champions

Cassiopeia

As we noted above, those base stat nerfs were more aimed at the side lanes than the mid, so Cassiopeia actually got a slight bump to her mid lane ranking.

Yasuo

A bunch of nerfs to Yasuo, including his base health, passive shield, and the cooldown on his Windwall, caused the biggest drop in ranking among all mid laners.
