This is a list of the 5 best junglers in League of Legends on Patch 10.17

In a matter of weeks, the League of Legends jungle meta has transformed from a select few viable champions to an ocean of potential options ranging from tanks to mages to assassins. On Patch 10.17, the 5 best junglers are all capable of matching their teammates in terms of damage output and early game pressure.

While Patch 10.17 was the smallest of the season so far, there was still room for a few jungle changes in the notes.

Evelynn and Hecarim have benefitted from a sharp rise up the tier list recently and are amongst the best champions in the role, so they’ve both been nerfed as a result. In terms of buffs, Gragas’ armor was increased from 35 to 38 in an attempt to keep him in the viable jungle champion pool.

Here are the 5 best junglers on Patch 10.17 along with their main strengths and weaknesses:

5) Elise

51.50% Win Rate | 7.3% Pick Rate | 11.8% Ban Rate

Strengths: If you’re looking to create an early gold lead through incessant ganking and unstoppable tower dives, there is no better jungler than Elise. At level 3, the Spider Queen can single-handedly take over a game in the right hands.

Weaknesses: Elise drops off very early in the game and struggles to control the game after the 20-minute mark. As a result, the jungler must get her laners ahead during the laning phase or suffer the consequences in mid to late game teamfights.

4) Graves

50.58% Win Rate | 11.0% Pick Rate | 16.4% Ban Rate

Strengths: With excellent mobility and damage output at all stages of the game, the Outlaw is one of the most well-rounded junglers in the current League of Legends meta.

Weaknesses: Graves has zero forms of engage or crowd control in his kit – other than Smoke Screen – and needs his teammates to fill that role both during the laning phase and around key objectives.

3) Hecarim

52.75% Win Rate | 9.9% Pick Rate | 5.9% Ban Rate

Strengths: Following recent buffs, Hecarim boasts the best dueling and trading damage in the jungle role on Patch 10.17. Combine this with his incredible jungle clear speed and it’s no surprise that the Shadow of War is one of the strongest junglers in the current meta.

Weaknesses: Hecarim is quite reliant on having a gold advantage to influence the map and dictate the tempo early on. Fortunately, this is usually manageable thanks to his quick clear speed, but can often leave him useless if he falls behind.

2) Kha’Zix

51.23% Win Rate | 11.1% Pick Rate | 18.1% Ban Rate

Strengths: One of the primary reasons for Kha’Zix’s success in the current meta is his annoyance and ability to one-shot carries from invisibility. While his overall damage output is great, the jungler excels at finding picks on vulnerable targets in order to pick up key lethality items.

Weaknesses: Teamfights are not kind to Kha’Zix due to the lack of Isolated targets, particularly in higher elos. Therefore, players piloting the Voidreaver must guide their team to set up picks and traps during the mid game in order to snowball a gold lead.

1) Evelynn

52.02% Win Rate | 8.1% Pick Rate | 22.4% Ban Rate

Strengths: Evelynn’s single-target assassination is arguably the strongest in League of Legends right now, especially if you include the immense safety and survivability provided by Last Caress.

Weaknesses: The Demon of Agony is incredibly dependent on finding flanks in order to impact a teamfight, which can be a difficult task when facing an organized and aware opposition.
