Dropped:

Key

  • * = new to the tier list this patch
  • ⇑ = improved (rated at least one tier higher than the previous patch)
  • ⇓ = declined (rated at least one tier lower than the previous patch)
  • ⇐ = borderline-up (within 10% of being in the next-higher tier)
  • ⇒ = borderline-down (within 10% of being in the next-lower tier)

Rising Picks

Must be the Bjergsen effect, because Zilean had the biggest jump to his rating in Patch 10.18, rising to borderline B tier this patch.

Dropping Picks

The champion with the biggest drop-off in rating for mid lane in our League of Legends aggregated tier list was Aurelion Sol, who fell out of the B tier.

Underrated Picks

The most underrated mid laner this patch is actually not  a mid laner. It’s mid Pyke, who has a pick rate under 1% but is considered to be an A tier pick.

Overrated Picks

Sylas, and Zoe are both still overrated in terms of their pick rate in relation to their ranking, but they’re joined by two friends in Patch 10.18: Twisted Fate and Lucian.

Buffed Champions

Ahri

Those considerable buffs to Ahri’s kit don’t seem to have taken effect quite yet, as the Nine-Tailed Fox still sits in the A tier, about where she was before the patch.

Rumble

The buffs to Rumble’s Flamespitter were actually bigger for his mid lane presence than top lane, as he jumped up into the B tier in Patch 10.18.

Nerfed Champions

Galio

Galio had his wings clipped when Riot took some damage out of his Winds of War. He did tumble out of the S tier branch as a result, but Galio is still a strong mid laner in the A+ tier.

Sett

In the mid lane, the nerfs to Sett were felt about as hard as they were in the top lane. He’s down to the low-C tier in our mid lane tier list, but he’s not completely out of the meta.
