League of Legends: 25 Best Champions to Climb at the End of Season 10
By Josh Tyler
With the end of Season 10 approaching, we give the best champions to help you climb in League of Legends.
Top Laners
1. Darius
No surprise here as the Hand of Noxus has been ripping through solo queue for all of Season 10 to the horror of top lane mains. He’s a lane bully with a borderline execute, true damage bleed, and very flexible itemization. If you want easy wins from the top lane, Darius is your man.
2. Jax
Jax is actually a deceptively strong laner, with his Counterstrike giving him plenty of opportunities to outplay. Even though his skills and kit are very simple, there is a lot of nuance and complexity in how you play him. Plus, in the late game there are few champions that can go toe-to-toe with the Grandmaster at Arms.
3. Mordekaiser
The Iron Revenant is another pick who will make the lane phase miserable for your opponents. Not only does he have shields for days and can pull you in from a long range, he also has one of the most useful ults in the game. He builds tanky while dealing damage and you can laugh as you walk down helpless immobile enemy carries.
4. Garen
Of course, the Might of Demacia is among the strongest picks in low elo, but he’s also proven to be viable if not strong in the higher brackets of play as well. Although he’s less mobile than Jax and packs less CC than Darius, Garen can still run down and kill any targets on the enemy team with few items. Especially for beginners, Garen is the perfect pick.
5. Malphite
You need at least one tank in your top lane arsenal and for Season 10 Malphite has been the king of the crop. Not only is he a fantastic counter to three of the other top laners we listed, he has easy engage to start teamfights that your teammates will almost always follow up on.
