With the new items hitting League of Legends in Preseason 11, here are fifteen builds that have been dominating the Rift.

Mid

1. Rocketbelt Fizz

This build is basically unchanged from Season 10, with Fizz going Hextech Rocketbelt (the spiritual succcessor to Protobelt) into Lich Bane and Zhonya’s. Yet his win rate has spiked to over 60.5% in this patch, the best among all mid laners.

The key that makes this build work is that Hextech Rocketbelt now grants all Legendary items an additional 5 magic penetration, basically giving him 15-25 extra magic pen for free. That’s the equivalent of Sorcerer’s Shoes for free and makes him dominant even without getting a Void Staff.

2. Luden’s Lissandra

Lissandra hasn’t seen her win rate go over 50.5% in the last four patches, but in Preseason 11 she’s currently sitting at a 58.93% win rate! Yeah, something seems to have gone very right for her with the new items.

The main culprit appears to be Luden’s Tempest, which grants her that sweet extra magic pen and also helps her waveclear. However, an underrated aspect of the new Luden’s is the movement speed you get from damaging enemies, which allow her to easily close the gap to deal more damage or land her root. Follow up Luden’s with Zhonya’s and Morellonomicon to round out the build.

3. Liandry’s Azir

Currently with the second-highest win rate (59.85%), Azir previously hadn’t seen his win rate even eclipse 48%! With the introduction of Liandry’s Anguish, though, Azir has proven to be unstoppable.

The key is the Torment passive on the item, which not only burns and grants percent max health damage, it also reduces enemy magic resist every second in combat. For someone who loves drawn-out fights like Azir and who can proc the Torment passive with his Sand Soldiers, he’s basically shredding down the enemy from a phenomenal range.
