League of Legends: Ranking the Best Christmas Skins

Here are the best League of Legends skins to get you in the Christmas spirit.

30. Sugar Rush Ziggs

Price: 1350 RP

This is one of my favorite Ziggs skins, and it’s easily higher quality than his Snow Day skin. His Bouncing Bomb turning into a cupcake is perfection. But this isn’t a skin that really gives you that eggnog and mistletoe feeling that you want around the holidays.

29. Sugar Rush Evelynn

Price: 1350 RP

At least Evelynn’s recall animation and some of her idle animations have some little gingerbread cookies. That’s something Christmas-related, at least. Otherwise, again, it’s a very good skin that’s otherwise barely related to the holiday spirit.

28. Winter Wonder Karma

Price: 1350 RP

The thing about the Winter Wonder skins is that they are all very generically winter. There isn’t a lot of personality or warmth to them, and that’s exemplified by Karma’s skin. Yes, the effects and particles are all great and make the price point worthwhile, but it doesn’t give you that warm holiday cheer feeling we’re looking for.

27. Poro Rider Sejuani

Price: 975 RP

Yes, it’s adorable to see Sejuani riding a poro Bristle, but the biggest problem I have with this skin is that Sejuani is already a winter-themed champion. As a result, Riot kind of mailed it in on making any of the new effects or animations unique or festive, compared to her base skin. The quality of Bristle elevates it above the basic skins, but it’s not Christmas-y enough to warrant a higher ranking.

26. Sugar Rush Zilean

Price: 1350 RP

Easily the best and most festive of the Sugar Rush skins, this one also features gingerbread men in Zilean’s recall animation and a toy oven. While it’s otherwise very candy-centric and not holiday-centric, the quality of the skin and the fact that it did come as a part of the Snowdown event warrant a high placement.
