For an older skin, this one is pretty darn festive and fun. Nunu is wearing a festive Christmas cloak, Willump is donning reindeer antlers, and the two even build a snowman! For an older, cheaper skin, this comes with plenty of new effects, looks great, and is very festive!
4. Bad Santa Veigar
Price: 975 RP
The little guy is looking like he’s feeling the holiday cheer in his tiny Santa suit, complete with a jingle bell and a candy cane that’s taller than him! His recall animation now features him hopping down a chimney just like Saint Nick and his cage now comes with all the Christmas trimmings. Easily one of the best holiday skins out there.
3. Slay Belle Katarina
Price: 975 RP
This skin is exceptional, with everything looking great from Katarina herself (in another sexy Santa suit that’s a bit more detailed than that in Candy Cane Miss Fortune) to the effects on her abilities. In particular, I love the Christmas lights on the boundary of her ultimate and the jingling bells they give her when she walks. With new animations, including a giant candy cane on her recall, this will warm even the Grinch’s heart.
2. Snow Fawn Poppy
Price: 1350 RP
This skin is exceptional, a perfect blend of the winter effects on her abilities with a Christmas flare on her champion model and animations. The model looks fantastic, as Poppy is wielding a giant rattle instead of a hammer, dressed in a Santa suit, and sporting reindeer antlers. She also gets to ride in a sleigh with Poros when she recalls and leaves base, but my favorite effect is a giant present popping up after she uses her ultimate.
1. Santa Braum
Price: 1350 RP
When he “walks” he’s driven in a sleigh pulled by some Poro reindeer (who also pull him off into the sky in his recall animation). His shield has been repurposed into a decorated fireplace. His Winter’s Bite animation replaces the ice blast with a wrapped present.
The Concussive Blows effect is a little reindeer head. Glacial Fissure starts the crack with a bunch of candy canes sprouting up and comes with rows of decorated garlands. Oh, and he looks dope as hell in his Santa suit that we must also call a sexy Santa outfit. In what way is this not the best Christmas skin?
