4. Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro (Evil Geniuses)

2020 was a weird year for Jiizuke. In the Spring Split, Jiizuke was the carry for the Evil Geniuses, popping off to 1v9 several games. But in the summer, his play sputtered and he was eventually demoted in favor of Goldenglue (well, it was more to get EG in compliance with the import rule to bring Huni into the starting lineup).

Jiizuke was known for being a volatile player during his time with Vitality in the LEC and he proved that was true with EG last year. Jiizuke averaged the second-most deaths per game (2.7) among all mids. This resulted in him having a 2.17 aKDA, one of the worst among all mids for 2020.

However, Jiizuke was one of the stronger carry mid laners when he was popping off. His 434 GPM was second-highest among mid laners and he posted a very impressive 538.5 MAGXD @ 15. In short, Jiizuke managed to do exceptionally well in lane and then translated those leads across the map with ease.

Now, one issue that Jiizuke often runs into is low damage output. His 492 DPM was among the lowest for his role, but unlike Damonte it’s not due to his champion pool being low-damage. He posted an EDD on -21.7, which is bottom two for mid laners.
