There are 140 new skins coming to League of Legends in Season 11.

Riot announced 140 new skins would be coming in Season 11, with many neglected champions on the list for at least one. They also delved into the new thematics we will see this year including a first-ever player vote for a new skin theme that will join the game later this season!

New Skins Guaranteed

  • Fiddlesticks
  • Tahm Kench
  • Corki
  • Camille
  • Galio
  • Lulu
  • Nautilus
  • Wukong
  • Nunu & Willump
  • Sejuani
  • Rumble
  • Yuumi
  • Twitch

Themes

Riot touched on an issue that many players have noticed in recent years, going back to the same well of champion skin lines. Riot noted that they are going to continue updating popular skin themes like PROJECT and Battle Academia, but they’re going to start developing brand new skin lines to increase player’s excitement.

The first new theme Riot discussed is the one that is coming for the Lunar New Year. Lunar Beast is billed as a hybrid of “high-fashion streetwear with a touch of traditional elegance” set in the year 2057 (the next Year of the Ox). They also gave some looks at Fiora, Jarvan, and Alistar (obviously) who are receiving skins in the Lunar Beast set.

The next theme that was shown is Space Groove, an eccentric, kind of neon, glam, sci-fi theme. It’s extremely weird and wacky, but also glamorous, and looks very cool. We saw skins in this line for Nasus, Blitzcrank, and Lux.

Player Vote

The biggest announcement of the livestream, as related to skins, is that Riot will be holding a player choice vote between three thematic lines. The lines are code-named Monster Tamers, Crime City Nightmare, and Debonair 2.0.

We got to see some concept art for these new skin lines, along with champions who could get a skin if that theme is chosen. We saw concept art for Monster Tamer Janna, Crime City Nightmare Twisted Fate, and Debonair 2.0 is either Malzahar or Aphelios.

Whichever thematic gets the most votes in the poll this year, Riot will ship skins in that theme line. But don’t worry if your favorite doesn’t get chosen. Riot also stated that they will revisit the other skin lines if there is enough positive feedback.
