12. OMG

Roster

Tian “New” Zhi-Peng
Mao “AKi” An
Wang “Wuming” Xin
He “Eric” Qiang
Liu “cold” Shi-Yu

Star Player

They really don’t have an established star player, but one promising player to watch is ADC Eric. He tore it up last year with Oh My Dream, OMG’s amateur team, before being called up to OMG and performing quite well.

Preview

Between AKi and Eric, there is enough young talent that OMG could develop and surprise some people. Even though OMG is probably going to go with cold as the starter initially, I hope they give the younger Bafang a shot.

11. Bilibili Gaming

Roster

Yu “Biubiu” Lei-Xin
Zeng “Meteor” Guo-Hao
Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo
Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram
Ling “Mark” Xu

Star Player

Even though Mark and Meteor grab the headlines, I actually think Zeka is going to emerge as the best player on this team in his second full year as a pro.

Preview

This team has a great mix of experience and youth, but no breakout stars on their roster. If it comes together, though, this could be a sneaky team to make some noise.

10. Royal Never Give Up

Roster

Yang “Xiaobai” Zhong-He
Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao
Yan “Wei” Yang-Wei
Yuan “Cryin” Cheng-Wei
Chen “GALA” Wei
Shi “Ming” Sen-Ming

Star Player

Their veteran support, Ming, is going to be a player who can drive this revamped RNG team. He’s the old faithful of this organization and, though he’s not flashy, he’ll be the one to watch.

Preview

This team is…interesting. They moved their (very good) mid laner Xioahu to the top lane. The guy they made room for, Cryin, is actually very good, but it didn’t really make sense to shuffle around the roster this much. I don’t think this team has much potential, but their floor is high enough to keep them out of the basement.

9. eStar

Roster

Zhang “zs” Shuai
Yang “H4cker” Zhi-Hao
Ye “Insulator” Zhi-Wei
Peng “rat” Qiao-Yu
Liu “ShiauC” Chia-Hao

Star Player

Their mid laner Insulator is actually a sneaky-good mid laner in the amateur league, though he’s been blocked for the last few years on FPX behind Doinb. I’m excited to see just how good he can be in the LPL.

Preview

This team has a very underrated bot lane, especially rat, who looked really good in his first year during limited games in the LPL. Between him, rat, and H4cker, this is a young team to be very excited about, even if they’re probably not quite challengers yet.
