8. Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen (FlyQuest)

Johnsun was heralded as one of the brightest young AD Carries when he entered the league as a member of Dignitas last year. He certainly got off to a hot start and performed well, considering the level of talent around him. However, he still has many areas that he needs to improve on.

For one thing, Johnsun was one of the weaker ADCs when it came to damage dealing last year. His 483 raw DPM resulted in him having a -45.7 EDD, making him one of the least efficient damage dealers of all players in his role. He was also a below-average laner, as he was 92.8 gold and experience down further than he should have been.

The biggest problem that Johnsun showed, though, was in his champion pool. While he was able to play a good amount of unique champions (12), there wasn’t one pick that he was graded as elite on.

What’s more disturbing, though, is that his champion pool is very top-heavy. 22 of his 42 games were on two champions – Aphelios and Ashe. The fact that Johnsun couldn’t post elite performances on his two most-played champions is not great.

On top of that, his gold per minute at 418 is below average. He also had a 2.85 aKDA, which is in the bottom three for his role.
