The Summer Split has been rough for Cloud 9. After an extremely dominant Spring they’re a complete shell of themselves. It’s almost night and day what we’re seeing from them right now. Although they’re still among one of the top teams in the overall standings, just sub .500 for this split would seem like a disappointment from what they were pre-MSI.

The LCS 2021 Championship could be where we see them overcome adversity and rise to the occasion. Outside of the play-in, this team has the potential to give TSM and 100 Thieves a run for their money at the top 2 spots. The sky is the limit for this team and if they could live up to their potential they’ll have a shot at redeeming their failures at MSI 2021.
