Team Liquid takes the second spot because of the collective experience amongst the roster four of the five starters have all been to Worlds and understand the level of competition they’re about to face. This success in the latter stages of the season isn’t a surprise because their team is comprised of veterans who’ve modeled consistency in the past. You know what you’re getting from Team Liquid when they hit the rift.

However, it’s for that same reason that Team Liquid isn’t the best team in the pack. Jensen, Tactical, and CoreJJ have been together for years. But despite being together they haven’t been able to get the job done even at the peak of their careers. While there is hope for great things to happen, the odds just aren’t in their favor and it seems like there’s a cap on just how far this team can go with these pieces.
