Vitality’s style finally emerges after weeks of running it down. Vetheo has copied more from Chovy than just his mechanics it seems!

Vitality steamroll over Misfits in what is becoming their emerging team style after weeks of embarrassing inting. A slow moving split-push team, Vitality’s style of play is finally shaping out to what most analysts predicted – Perkz and Selfmade work together to establish mid and jg dominance and then transfer that lead to Alphari and have him carry the game through his split pushing skill and prowess. For now, the style isn’t as fast as some other teams around the world would run it, but I suspect Vitality will only get stronger from now on, now they seemed to have settled on an identity. The God-Emperor was massive this game, constantly digging his foot into Misfits’ neck by setting up picks with Twisted Fate, allowing VIT to sustain a steady lead that would eventually snowball into the win. Selfmade’s Xin Zhao deserves an honorable mention after his monstrous KDA  – the man had even more KP% than Perkz! However, I think it was Perkz’s steadfast use of Destiny and his knack for finding plays that allowed Vitality to triumph over a surging Misfits and bring them ever closer to playoffs for what has been quite a rough season for the superteam.

Vetheo, true to his teachings from Chovy, established a great early lane lead and chose not to roam in order to secure more plates and get stronger for himself, but could not carry in the end. I am interested if he just adopts Chovy’s playstyle completely and becomes another selfish player with disastrous carry potency or if he’ll have more feathers in his cap to draw from down the line. It’s only his third split and he still has one more split before his rate of improvement stabilizes and I, for one, am excited to see what kind of player he eventually becomes.
