The last week of 2022 LEC Spring Split opens up with God Gilius saving his team when they needed him most. Vetheo oneshots some kids to earn his 6th BlogOfLegends MVP.

SK Gaming vs Rogue

Just when SK Gaming needed him most, God Gilius resurfaces again with a gem of a game on Lee Sin, handing Rogue just their fourth loss of the split and keeping SK’s playoffs hopes alive, however slim they might be. Gilius completely dominated one of two BlogOfLegends MVP candidates in Malrang, finding early game leads through his proactive Lee Sin angles and dazzling kicks, propelling SK to a good start against the titans that are Rogue. Gilius seems to have a penchant for the Lee Sin, as his last MVP performance was also a great performance on the same champion. SK played well across all lanes this time around, with carries Sertuss and Jezu clocking in above average performances to aid Gilius in his divine conquest.

What makes this SK win all the more interesting is how Rogue did not experiment this time around – they played a very standard comp and got decisively beaten down. Rogue are looking to secure seeding going into the postseason and they will likely welcome a more favorable start if they can help it, which makes Gilius’ and SK’s performance all the more fabulous.

AST vs MSF

While Astralis certainly made it interesting, Vetheo crushes them underfoot and secures his 6th BlogOfLegends MVP with the help of his trusty sidekick Shlatan. While he got out to an early lead thanks to chain ganks on Astralis rookie Dajor, Vetheo was stymied in some of the mid game fights by Zanzarah’s signature Trundle, which stalled out the game. But he was once again the difference maker on the Syndra, completely annihilating Astralis members in the late game by setting up burst picks, which led to numbers advantages and eventually a close out for the rabbits.
