Friendly reminder that Jezu plays Kalista. Perkz and Alphari pull off a Rookie/TheShy cosplay. Upset makes LEC history. Malrang ties Vetheo for BlogofLegends MVPs.

SK vs MSF

Fun Fact: Jezu has always been a really good Kalista player! I remember back in his previous split that while he would be mediocre at best with other ADCs and rarely pop off, Kalista has always been one of his go-to pocket picks and he showed up in an enormous way today, picking up a 26 minute Pentakill after dominating the game from the start. I said SK has a penchant for pulling out upsets and they go out by pulling a rabbit out of Misfits’ hat, handing the bouncing bunnies the loss that might keep them from a Top 2 berth. Hirit, unlike his star carries, has been a huge question mark all split with his below average play, and will be the biggest weakness of this blossoming Misfits team come playoffs.

VIT vs AST

Vitality finally decide to take this whole “LEC” thing seriously for once as they pull apart Astralis from all sides to clinch the final playoff seed this spring. Both Alphari and Perkz were outstanding in this game as they did their best Rookie & TheShy impression by completely 2v8ing the game from top and mid. Now we will really see the true power of Vitality as they prep for their first opponent, Excel, and see if they can back up all the talk regarding their lackadaisical play or if Europe is in for one of its greatest playoff upsets of all time.

FNC vs XL

Upset makes history by recording 11 deaths across an entire LEC split, breaking Rekkles’ record of 13, whilst also securing 1000 kills and the BlogOfLegends MVP as Fnatic put up the finishing touches on Excel. Hylissang’s Renata, while good, was not as transcendent as it was the last time we’ve seen it and Upset simply took over for his duo partner, clutching out fights with smooth teamfighting on Zeri that eventually made any sort of comeback impossible for the XL squad.

RGE vs G2

Rogue destroy G2 off the back of Malrang’s proactive plays early, rounded out by Odoamne and Comp teamfighting their way through G2 players and into their base. Caps had quite a poor game on the Twisted Fate as he was not able to sync up with Jankos and generate any early leads. However, with playoff seeding locked, I doubt G2 would care too much about this loss as they keep their eyes peeled for playoffs.
