The biggest surprise of the entire split, Misfits clock in at #3 in the standings where most people expected them to finish near the middle of the table. The reason why is quite obvious, as mid laner Vetheo and bot laner Neon pick up BlogOfLegends All-Pro honors for their respective positions following an outstanding display of skill and poise in those nail biting Misfits comebacks.

Vetheo has been the the anime protagonist of this split as analysts and pundits alike have been raving at his consistent but explosive improvement from his previous two splits up until now – he started off as a Zoe/LeBlanc two-trick in his first split, started incorporating melee champions like Sylas in his second split before merging the two styles together to create an unstoppable monster that is very reminiscent of all the legendary EU mid laners of years gone by.

I do want to put more emphasis on Neon, however, since I believe the man has not gotten nearly as much praise as Vetheo has, despite putting up similar performances. Part of the reason I gave him the All-Pro Bot Laner award instead of someone like say, Upset, was how hard he carried some of Misfits’ games on his now-signature Jinx. Vetheo is not the most consistent of carries, and when he is getting focused down or having a bad game, Neon steps up to the plate more often than not to deliver similar carry virtuosos from the ADC position. That comeback win against Fnatic in the last week of LEC was probably the hardest carry performance I’ve seen from an ADC player this split, and it was up against his direct competitor in Upset himself. He has been just as much as a treat to watch as Vetheo and I am very pleased that we have a new elite ADC player in the LEC after the departure of Rekkles.
