T1 vs KDF

What can be said about this series that was not already known. T1 came into the game as big as favorites as possible in any semifinals in recent history. The undefeated first seed vs the good but inconsistent 5th seed. This game followed the script perfectly as T1 dominated the series and made history yet again as they recorded the fastest best of five series in LCK history with only one game going over 30 minutes and the others being complete wipes. T1 has continued to live up to all of the hype and their players at every position prove they can carry a game at any time. Gumayusi garnered four bans in game one and Faker had a huge outplay on Vex but, I think the biggest highlight has to go to Keiria, his support play is like no other in this world. He does not play support like other players do he treats champions like nautilus as if were a midlaner with taking over games and creating plays that no other player let alone a support player is capable of seeing. His domination of the LCK this year made him a clear MVP in my eyes and sets him up for the LCK finals next week.

DK vs Gen.G

This is where everyone expected the action to be and that is exactly what we got out of this series. A thrilling five-game endeavor that ended with one of the most exciting games five in recent history. The series was back and forth as both teams would trade the first four games. Huge implications in game two came with Burdol having one of the worst performances ever on Malphite where he made an incredibly overpowered champion look as bad as possible. His play was so poor that Damwon would sub him out after this game leading to Hoya coming in and he would create a huge impact on Camille leading to a victory in game three and one of the only positives out of game four. Game five Canyon put on a master class for early game Nidalee absolute dominating Peanut nearly flame horizoning him at 20 minutes. At 20 minutes Damwon was up nearly 9k gold and Gen.G looked hopeless. Their only remaining grace was they had a much better scaling comp and if they could delay the game long enough they might be able to outscale and win. Chovy and Ruler did just this, both creating humongous cs leads doing their best to hold out for as long as they could to find their opportunity to win. Ruler would have a huge fight in the top lane at the 26-minute mark and Chovy would show why he was the 2nd best midlaner in LCK this year with the game-winning triple kill as Damwon throws the game away at Baron. After taking away Baron Gen.G would run the game down and take the game. Chovy and Ruler were absolutely brilliant throughout the series, with Chovy especially proving that he is a premier midlaner with huge carry performances in all three Gen.G wins. Both teams in this series struggled with consistency and in a way the series was more reliant on which team made more mistakes rather than which team outplayed the other. This could be a huge factor in the T1 series as T1 seems to not make any mistakes but Gen.G has shown to still have hard carries in both the mid and toplane. The finals will be the series people have been asking for all year as Gen.G vs T1 is finally happening hopefully without Covid issues.
