URF is now available…on the PBE

You can now go enjoy the fun game mode of URF if you are lucky enough to have a PBE account.

The Rotating Game Mode queue went live today, but the opening game mode is Ascension – not Ultra Rapid Fire (URF).

The new queue is an amazing addition to League of Legends, but the game mode people want more than anything in the world is URF. The mode will frequent the new queue, but the first time won’t be until the end of this month (April 22-24).

They need these champions tested out the most because they are either new champions or ones that have been reworked, so they don’t know how they will interact with URF yet. And yes, Tahm Kench in URF sounds like the worst possible thing anyone could have to deal with. Spamming that broken tongue while having a constant shield? No thanks.

There’s no timetable for how long URF will be up on the PBE, but it should be up for a few days at the very least. If you don’t have a PBE account but desperately want to play URF as soon as possible, you can sign up for one here.
