50 best League of Legends champions of all-time

21. Ahri
For many, Ahri busted upon the scene (literally) in the Season 3 World Championship when Faker showed us just how potent this champion could be in the right hands.
He found a way to target the support and instantly vaporize them no matter where they were hiding. It was the following season that support was drastically buffed, and this was likely due to his ability to render the role useless.
So, now that we’ve established the fact that it was largely this champion that necessitated an entire role to be buffed, you can realize why Ahri’s on the list. She was part of the early big three (Zed, LeBlanc and Ahri) that were picked or banned in nearly every competitive game for an entire season, and solo queue followed suit.
All of this, however, is just facts about the past Ahri, while the other reason she’s here is because of her kit as it stands. Especially since the small rework where her Q now grants bonus movement speed, she feels very slick and enjoyable to play. She is smooth and deals enough damage, but not too much. She contains a perfect balance between mobility and damage, while also maintaining a respectable amount of skill to master. Her two most important damage abilities are skillshots, and missing them denies a massive part of her kits damage.
