5. Kingzone DragonX (19-13)

This team needed three games to beat Hanwha Life before losing to Gen.G in three. The latter isn’t a huge deal, considering Gen.G was right below them in the standings, but the failure to take care of Hanwha Life as easily as they should drop them in the ranking.

4. Gen.G (17-11)

A 4-1 week for Gen.G leapfrogged them over Kingzone thanks to beating them in the head-to-head match-up. They also took down a team ahead of them – Sandbox – in two games and strengthen their case for being among the top teams in the LCK. With Fly playing well in all five games, he proves that Gen.G looks like a completely different team with him over Kuzan.

3. Sandbox Gaming (18-10)

Getting swept by Gen.G drops them down the rankings, and it’s all the harder to swallow considering their super top Summit uncharacteristically underperformed, going a combined 3/8/3 in the two games. Needing three games to beat Hanwha Life later in the week didn’t help their case any.

2. Damwon Gaming (18-10)

I know, I know. They beat Griffin, 2-0, in their only series of the week, so how the heck are they in second. Unfortunately, that lead Griffin built in our power rankings from their hot start kept Damwon from climbing the team. That said, the gap has officially closed and it’s no longer clear that Griffin is the undisputed class of the LCK.

1. Griffin (16-9)

And, on that note, Griffin has now gone 1-6 in their past three series to completely come back down to the rest of the pack. In terms of series wins, they’re actually below Sandbox and Damwon in the standings and they need to start picking up some wins if they want to get one of those top spots in the playoffs.
