League of Legends: LCK Week 6 power ranking
By Josh Tyler
With SKT streaking and Griffin faltering, how did Week 6 of LCK play go and how are all the Korean League of Legends teams are faring?
Early on in the season, no two teams in the LCK were on further trajectories than SKT and Griffin. SKT was coming off a lackluster appearance at MSI and struggled out of the gate, while Griffin was considered to be the best team in professional League of Legends.

After five weeks of LCK play, though, SKT was turning their season around having won eight straight games. On the other hand, Griffin was starting to show signs of mortality losing both their Week 5 series. Did SKT stay hot and did Griffin right the ship?
10. Jin Air Green Wings (2-24)
An 0-4 week from Jin Air just continues to highlight how pathetic this team is. The only bright spot in the weekend was jungler Sieze going 3/1/3 on Sylas in their Game 1 loss to SK Telecom.
Do we think Rogue could beat Jin Air? Do we think TSM could beat Jin Air?
9. Hanwha Life Esports (8-20)
Hanwha Life lost both their series in Week 6, but on the bright side, they did manage to take both those series to three games. Their series was against two top-tier teams in Kingzone and Sandbox, so, yay progress I guess?
8. KT Rolster (9-18)
KT only had one series this week, but they did manage to take it in a 2-1 victory over Afreeca Freecs. That series included a perfect Game 1, where they did not surrender a single death or objective in the entire game. Pray said the team was turning a corner and Week 6 was certainly an indication they’re trending that way.
7. Afreeca Freecs (17-13)
On the other hand, Afreeca’s underperformance against KT dropped them out of the top half of our tier list. They did manage to win their second series, but it was against Jin Air which is basically the LCK version of “free space.”
6. SKT Telecom T1 (15-11)
The win streak continues for SKT, now reaching 10 games, with their two matches in Week 6 against Jin Air. Unimpressive, yes, but SKT is right back in the hunt for the playoff spot. May the playoff buff of SKT never die.
