Top Lane

Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu vs Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau

Bwipo seriously does not get enough credit for how much of a carry threat he is for Fnatic to take pressure off Rekkles and Nemesis. During the regular season, Bwipo led the LEC in adjusted damage per minute, adjusted gold per minute, and his 2.51 adjusted KDA was second only to Wunder.

Bwipo’s greatest strength is also his greatest weakness. He has a massive champion pool but doesn’t really excel on any single pick. Of the 12 champions he played during the regular season, he played multiple games on just three of them and had a KDA over 3.00 on none of those. While he’s certainly not going to be banned out, he’s not exactly a rock in the top lane.

Odoamne, however, had a rough summer. He posted the worst adjusted kill participation and laning stats of any LEC top laner and was a big reason that Schalke didn’t get any momentum going for most of the summer.

Now, he has stepped his play up tremendously in the playoffs, including a strong showing against Rogue. Of course, he had that pop-off game on Kennen which he capped off with his first-ever penta. Unfortunately, he hasn’t yet shown this improved performance against high-quality competition like he will this week.

Advantage: Fnatic
