Rising Picks
No significant movers in the support role, but the biggest rise of Patch 10.9 belongs to Fiddlesticks. He moved up from low to mid-D tier in the support role this patch.
Dropping Picks
The biggest drop in the support role for Patch 10.9 belongs to Vel’Koz, who went from borderline-B tier last patch to mid-C tier in this one.
Underrated Picks
She may have a pick rate of 1.75%, but Sona is still rated in the high-B tier and should be picked more than she is right now.
Overrated Picks
The only champion in the top-ten by pick rate for supports who isn’t in at least A tier is Karma. She’s actually in the low-B tier despite having the tenth-highest pick rate (7.8%).
Buffed Champions
Fiddlesticks
Same song, different verse. Fiddlesticks nerfs were enough to bring him to the mid-D tier after the buffs to his Reap.
Nerfed Champions
Bard
His Caretaker’s Shrine and Magical Journey both got cooldown nerfs, but the Wandering Caretaker is still roaming the top of the support role. He remains in the A+ tier even after the nerfs.
Nami
Nami’s been a catch in the bot lane for a while now, but the nerfs to her base stats didn’t turn her into dinner for other bot laners. She’s still an A+ tier support.
