League of Legends: New Astronaut Skins Landing on Patch 10.11

A new set of Astronaut skins are set to be released on League of Legends Patch 10.11. Bard, Gnar, and Poppy will receive new space-themed looks.

Patch 10.10 introduced us to a new line of Pulsefire skins and just two weeks later League of Legends will release a new set of Astronaut skins that could be even more popular. Bard, Gnar, and Poppy will be the three recipients of the new additions to the skin line.

Here’s a brief review of the three new skins:

Astronaut Bard

It’s been a while since Bard received a new skin and only has three in total, he’s more than deserving of a new cosmetic!

This theme is very fitting for the cosmic caretaker as it would not be too much of a stretch of the imagination to see the champion in a spacesuit.

Not only does Bard look great, but his meeps are also a genius touch. Taking an otherwise boring aspect of Bard’s kit and transforming them into cute, Toy Story-like aliens is an incredible addition to the skin and almost worth the RP price on its own.

The skin also comes with a total of 8 chromas.

Astronaut Gnar

The next Astronaut skin is for Gnar, the Missing Link.

Visually, this is an amazing skin, combining both the cuteness of Mini Gnar and the fearsome nature of Mega Gnar. The former is basically regular Mini Gnar in a colorful spacesuit, while the latter is a huge, terrifying alien creature.

It could be argued that there is a little overlap between Astronaut Gnar and Super Galaxy Gnar, but there are definitely clear differences between the two skins.

Astronaut Poppy

The final new skin is Astronaut Poppy, a more modern and sleeker-looking skin than the two previous.

The Yordle has replaced her regular hammer for a space hammer upgrade which looks really cool. Also, Poppy’s ultimate, Keeper’s Verdict, now forms a rocket ship after knocking a champion up from an explosion of space rock terrain, one of the most unique animations in League of Legends.

Astronaut Poppy comes with 7 chromas.
