LCS Summer 2020: Week 8 Player Power Ranking

Our LCS Summer 2020 Week 8 player power ranking ranks the supports and we hand out our weekly awards.

Support

1. Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme (Cloud9) – 92.4

Man Vulcan had an awful Week 8 that included an 0/4/5 Nautilus game with only 50% kill participation as they lost to Golden Guardians. While he’s still easily the best support (in my opinion as well as the opinion of the stats) Vulcan needs to bounce back after a poor showing last week.

2. Tristan “Zeyzal” Stidam (Evil Geniuses) – 86.5
3. Lee “Ignar” Dong-geun (FlyQuest) – 84.6
4. Erik “Treatz” Wessén (TSM) – 83.8

I’m gonna have to eat tons of crow on my “Treatz isn’t really an upgrade over Biofrost” take. Treatz has looked exceptional in his first few games, now leading all supports in kill participation (75.8%) as well as being second in vision score per minute. Averaging less than a death a game, the young support is certainly making a late-split push for Rookie of the Split.
