Patch 6.14 buffs, nerfs and changes

Patch 6.14 will go live tomorrow.


Hopefully, you were prepared to get hit with some patch notes today, because Riot revealed patch 6.14 today and it is pretty big.

Here is a rundown of all the buffs, nerfs and changes that you will need to know before the update goes live tomorrow.

Champion buffs

Leona’s Q range has been increased from 30 to 50 and the cooldown is decreased from 11/10/9/8/7 seconds to 9/8/7/6/5 seconds. Also, the root duration of her E has been increased from 0.25 seconds to 0.5 seconds.

Sona’s aura radius has been increased from 350 to 400. The damage from her Power Chord has been increased from 13-192 (at levels 1-18) to 15-235 (at levels 1-18). Diminuendo’s damage reduction has been increased from 20 percent to 25 percent, and its damage reduction ratio has been increased from two percent per 100 ability power to four percent per 100 ability power. The heal from her W has been increased from 30/50/70/90/110 to 40/65/90/115/140 and its heal ratio is increased from 0.2 ability power to 0.25 ability power. Sona’s shield from her W is increased from 35/55/75/95/115 to 30/55/80/105/130 and its shield ratio is increased from 0.2 ability power to 0.3 ability power. The self-movement speed from her E has been changed from 13/14/15/16/17 percent movement speed that decays over three seconds to 16/17/18/19/20 percent non-decaying movement speed for three seconds. Also, the aura movement speed ratio has been increased from four percent per 100 ability power to six percent per 100 ability power and its aura movement speed duration is up from 1.5 seconds to 3.0 seconds.

Annie’s Tibbers got multiple bug fixes to make it work how it should.

Fiora’s passive now heals for 30-115 (at levels 1-18) instead of 25-110 (at levels 1-18). Also, the bonus attack damage ratio from her Q has been changed from 0.55/0.7/0.85/1/1.15 to 0.95/1/1.05/1.1/1.15.

Lee Sin’s shield amount from his W has been increased from 40/80/120/160/200 to 40/100/160/220/280.

Lux’s passive damage is up from 18-154 (at levels 1-18) to 18-190 (at levels 1-18).

Poppy’s cooldown on her passive is lowered from 18/14/10 seconds (at levels 1/7/13) to 16/13/10 seconds (at levels 1/7/13) and the shield amount from it has been changed from 15 percent of her maximum health at all ranks to 15/17.5/20 percent of her maximum health (at levels 1/7/13). Finally, the bonus movement speed from her W has been increased from 27/29/31/33/35 percent to 32/34/36/38/40 percent.

Yasuo received bug fixes on his Q, W and E to make him play as designed.

Champion nerfs

Leona’s passive damage has been lowered from 20-140 (at levels 1-18) to 20-105 (at levels 1-18). The damage on her Q has been lowered from 40/70/100/130/160 to 30/55/80/105/130 and her W damage is also decreased from 60/110/160/210/260 to 60/100/140/180/220. Finally, the damage from her ultimate is down from 150/250/350.

Sona’s Q damage has been decreased from 40/80/120/160/200 to 40/70/100/130/160. The healing from her W no longer increases by up to 50 percent based on the target’s missing health.

Azir’s soldier damage is the same but scales worse from levels 1-11 and the vision they give has been decreased from 575 to 350.

Lux’s Q damage is down from 60/110/160/210/260 to 50/100/150/200/250.

Malzahar’s base movement speed has been lowered from 340 to 335 and his basic attack range is down from 550 to 500.

Poppy’s damage from her passive is down from 20-190 (at levels 1-18) to 10-180 (at levels 1-18).

Rek’Sai’s tremor sense refresh per target from her W has been increased from 0.75 seconds to 1.5 seconds.

Taliyah’s W cooldown has been increased from 16/14/12/10/8 seconds to 16/15/14/13/12 seconds.

Champion changes

Leona’s ultimate now has a new passive ability. Soulstoke: after using Solar Flare, Leona gains Incandescence for five seconds. During that time, Leona’s next 3/4/5 basic attacks gain +100 range, deal 30/40/50 (+0.15 ability power) bonus magic damage and apply Sunlight.

Sona’s ultimate no longer amplifies her auras, but instead, it now reduces the cooldowns of her basic abilities by 20/30/40 percent. Her Diminuendo now shrinks the target for the duration of the buff.

Rek’Sai’s Tremor Sense will no longer alert her if the enemy is minorly moving to modify their facing.

Taliyah’s W has been changed to vector casting — like Rumble’s ultimate. Also, on her E, each mine deals 15 percent less damage than the last when detonating on the same target (minimum 55 percent damage).

Viktor’s first Hex-Core upgrade now costs 1,250 gold instead of 1,000, but the upgrade to his last Hex-Core is down from 1,000 gold to 750 gold.

Other changes

The out of combat movement speed from the Cloud Drake has been increased from 15/30/45 to 25/50/75.

Additional pings for abilities, summoner spells, major items, vision items, health bars and jungle timers have been added.

Champion mastery has been changed so that it’s easier for supports to get higher grades.

The new Ryze will launch with patch 6.14.
