A look at upcoming updates to Rek’Sai
Rek’Sai, the Void Burrower, is finally getting some updates in the future. Once all is said and done, she’ll return to being an underground terror in League of Legends.
Primarily a jungle champion, Rek’Sai, the Void Burrower, hasn’t really been the most popular champion to select in the role. As per Champion.gg, she has a 45.39 percent win rate but a ridiculously low play rate. Yeah, she’s just at .88 percent when it comes to those that actually play as her in the jungle.
One of the several reasons is due to her kit. The purpose of the jungle is to clear it quickly, help ward when possible, gank at every opportunity, and prepare for taking down tougher NPCs with your teammates like the Rift Herald and Baron.
When it comes to Rek’Sai, she, unfortunately, lacks the proper damage output to not only take down stronger NPCs but do her part in team fights. The truth of the matter is, she’s not viable when it comes to one of the most crucial parts of being a jungler when it’s a full-blown 5v5 situation.

In an article written by Julia Lee of The Rift Herald, she broke down all the new updates that are coming to Rek’Sai in the future.
By the looks of it, she’ll be able to generate fury faster when traveling underground as well as leaping to her targets once they’re marked.
These are new updates that should make her a force to reckon with when engaging in team fights. Plus, both her cast time and leaps are unstoppable by enemy attacks once initiated, so it will more than likely be a difference-maker later on in matches.
Once this update goes live and Summoners stack her up on Attack Damage and Attack Speed, she should undoubtedly rise up on the charts when it comes to junglers. Keep an eye out for her update in future patch updates since just like Lee said, this update to Rek’Sai is coming sooner than later.
