Introducing the the Watchful Poro ward

Who doesn’t love those adorable Poros in League of Legends? The little furry creatures from Freljord are always fun to feed Poro Snax in ARAM and especially in the popular Legend of the Poro King game mode. However, things are about to change when it comes to Poros and their future abilities in actually becoming wards.
The new Runes update set to hit this upcoming fall will change many things in League of Legends. Runes will now all be completely available for free with new paths to choose from and well, bring a whole new dimension to how Summoners play in matches. One such rune will give Summoners the ability to use Poros as wards.
In an article written by Tanner Dedmon of ComicBook.com, he confirmed the new Watchful Poro rune will drop a friendly Poro in any bush a Summoner steps into that will watch the area until you move or if an enemy champion scares it away.

Of course, anything can change between now and then but having Poros as friendly wards that don’t go against your ward count is a pretty cool concept.
Overall, a plethora of new runes are set to hit the game this fall in the biggest update developers have ever done to replace the old system with something fresher and more appealing to gamers everywhere. They certainly got it right with this new Watchful Poro rune because now Poros won’t feel so lonely anymore being only stuck in ARAM.
