League of Legends: How to make the most of Arcade Boss World Event

The Arcade Boss World Event is set to hit League of Legends on Thur, Aug 10, 2017, as Summoners will prepare to enjoy a lot of new missions, skins, and icons. Here’s how to make the most out of this awesome new event.

Who doesn’t love going to the arcade? No matter how old you are, it brings back fond memories of playing video games with friends as you all have a great time. Such is the case with the newest event, Arcade Boss World Event, set to hit League of Legends on Thur, Aug 10, 2017.

In a limited time only, the event is from 8/10/2017 11:00 PT until 8/24/2017 23:59 PT and will include a plethora of new missions as to which Summoners earn tickets by completing them. The more tickets you earn, the more loot you can craft for this exclusive event.

Summoners will need to complete the “Villians Rule!” mission to unlock the New Level icon as it will open two more missions, “Game Start: Blitzcrank” and “Game Start: Veigar.” Summoners need to make sure to keep an Arcade icon equipped in order to earn mission rewards.

Your safest bet is to, at the very least, keep the New Level icon equipped at all times as you progress through the missions. Now, there will be two purchasable passes in the game that can be bought with Riot Points (RP).

The Dungeon Pass, which costs 1,495 RP, will contain an Arcade Poro Ward, Arcade Poro Icon, Gemstone, Game Start Missions: Brand, Ziggs, Malzahar, and daily missions. As far as rewards go, right off the bat you can earn a Good Orb (2), Great Orb, Mega Orb, and 360 Tickets. Ideally, if you main Brand, Ziggs, or Malzahar, it’s worth investing in the Dungeon Pass.

The majority of Summoners will be inclined to get the Mini-Dungeon Pass which costs just 650 RP. This contains an Arcade Poro Ward and daily missions. You will also earn 140 Tickets with this pass to start things off.

The missions, in general, will have all sorts of different objectives to complete in order to be successful. Everything from winning matchmade games, assists, killing minions, earning gold, and even winning within a certain time frame, will be some of the easiest to accomplish.

Besides the mission lines, daily missions will give tickets, orbs, and items used to craft even more Arcade-specific loot. The best advice would be to gather friends that are also interested in finishing matches quickly and burning through missions as you’d be surprised how much you can get done if you sit and play for just three hours at a time.

Remember, let everyone in your party know to keep any Arcade icon equipped because if they don’t, they won’t get credit towards the missions. If you really want to push the envelope, purchase the Dungeon Pass and complete every single mission by 8/24/2017 23:59 PT as it will unlock a bonus secret level and icon. Most of all, have fun and enjoy everything this awesome event is about as it’s only two weeks long!
