Currently, in the PBE, Yasuo, the Unforgiven, big changes are being planned for his kit to make him more balanced in League of Legends.

Whether you love him or hate him, Yasuo, the Unforgiven, is among one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. It’s one of those situations where you’ll either get a Yasuo that will be a force to reckon with against anyone or one that completely falls flat.

Developers have realized that this is mostly due to how his kit operates. If certain abilities were changed in favor of fighting against a specific type of champion, Yasuo might not be banned so much since it’s too unpredictable as to how a Summoner will perform with him.

To combat this, some big changes have been rolled out with Yasuo as currently in the PBE, developers want to see how he does now mostly in the mid lane. In an article written by Tanner Dedmon of ComicBook.com,  he confirmed the new changes that are being tested out now:

More from Editorials

"Magic Resist increased from 30 to 32.1"

"MR per Level increased from .50 to 1.25"

"Way of the Wanderer (Passive) shield changed from 100-510 to 60-555"

"Last Breath (R) range increased from 1200 to 1400."

Ideally, this would move him to mostly be a mid lane champion and not have such an easy time against melee/tanky champions in League of Legends. These changes will more than likely move him out of the top lane and make him more focused on that specific role in the Summoner’s Rift.

It’s hard to tell how he will be if these are the final changes that go live once he gets updated for real in the game but in the grand scheme of things, it should allow for him to be more refined. Yasuo is supposed to do well against ranged champions, not wreak havoc if he’s fed against anyone in front of him, regardless of their play style.

Overall, keep an eye out for these possible Yasuo changes to hit either patch update 7.17 or even the patch after. It all depends on how initial reactions are from developers but more importantly, gamers that use and go up against him daily.
