Enchantment: Cinderhulk, the popular jungling item in League of Legends, saw some changes in patch update 7.18.

For all you junglers out there in League of Legends, you have undoubtedly heard about the changes that have hit Enchantment: Cinderhulk as of patch update 7.18. The popular jungling item was given a nerf that will require even more skill when clearing the jungle and preparing for any ganks.

Jungling is just as important as any other role in League of Legends. It’s not as easy as it looks since a good jungler will set the tone for ganks, when to go after dragon kills, and rotate accordingly in order to take objectives on the map.

Remember, it’s not always about kills as making sure to stay alive is crucial to success. Potions and using abilities that give health back in the jungle are equally as important as having the Enchantment: Cinderhulk item.

Developers have changed the health it gives when equipped from +325 to +300. The reason being, many Summoners tend to use tanky champions as a jungle option and with Enchantment: Cinderhulk equipped were simply too powerful.

In the grand scheme of things, it needed to be balanced to ensure that junglers who aren’t tanks in the first place, don’t feel they’re on the short end of the stick. For the most part, it’s a slight change that just means fairer competition when engaging enemy champions.

Overall, items, abilities, and roles are important but at the end of the day, it’s the skill of a Summoner that separates them from the rest. Sure, Enchantment: Cinderhulk now has less health but it just means better decision-making will be needed by junglers as it will only make them hone their craft even further.
