6. Echo Fox

New players: none

It’s really surprising that Echo Fox made no roster changes. Despite finishing in sixth place, this team had a lot of up and down during the Spring Split.

In particular, Rush struggled in the jungle dying more than any other player. Kim “Fenix” Jae-hun was also underwhelming in the mid lane, performing towards the bottom of the LCS. This team does have some promising parts including Colin “Solo” Earnest in the top lane and Apollo “Apollo” Price at AD Carry. With this much star power and it’s hard to imagine the feeling and they should be able to improve in summer.

Player to watch: Lee “Rush” Yoon-jae

Rush was one of the more celebrated acquisitions before the start of the Spring Split. Unfortunately, he underperformed in spring with his penchant for dying a lot. Having said that, I think Rush is better than his spring performance indicated and he could easily bounce back

Trending: up

This team underperformed last year given that they have more talent than most people realize. If we see the resurgence of old Rush, continued strong play from Apollo, Solo, and Hakuho, and a flash of Fenix’s old form, this team could be dangerous. Not top three, but dangerous.
