In our first installment of Weird Wednesday – where we ask the questions of League of Legends too weird to have been asked before – we examine which champion would have the most Instagram followers!
Instagram is huge in League of Legends. Whether it’s following your favorite professional teams and players, funny meme accounts, or just that random hot “streamer” we all have our own curated lists of accounts to consume League content. But what if Instagram existed in the world of League of Legends?

It’s a weird question to consider: if every champion in League of Legends had an Instagram account, which one would have the most followers? Luckily, we have some of the sharpest minds in our writing staff and the sharpest fans on our Twitter and Facebook pages to help answer this burning query.
"Ahri. There’s no doubt in my mind that Ahri would accrue the most followers on Runeterra’s equivalent to Instagram. Not only is she one of the more attractive champions in League of Legends, thus earning her a great deal of admirers by default, but she can also exploit her K/DA and Popstar fame to increase her follower count well past seven or eight figures.Musicians like Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez sit at over 150 million followers on Instagram and are the 3rd and 4th most popular accounts on the platform. It would come as no surprise if the Nine-Tailed Fox followed suit and dominated the popularity contest amongst her peers, if not for being the lead vocalist for League’s most popular music group, then purely for her stunning looks alone."
I dig this. Ahri would definitely be one of those thirst-trap girls on Instagram, especially in the world where K/DA existed. Of all the girls in that band, I could see her easily cracking that 100 million follower count.

While there are obviously a ton of hotties in the game that could dominate the League of Legends Instagram feed – looking at Ahri, Evelynn, Akali, Miss Fortune, Irelia – I’m going to go with the humor angle.In League of Legends, there is no funnier, more memeable champion than Heimerdinger. Hey, game respects game. As to the accounts she follows, I have the other K/DA girls (obvi), Tahm Kench (to get that Demon synergy), Ryze (because he’s playing hard to get), and…who else? Obviously, Vayne has her blocked, but maybe she also follows some other demons like Aatrox or Kayn for his dark(in) side?

Oh dear God I think my soul just shuddered. On top of just being creepy on it’s own, it gets doubly creepy if you realize that Zoe is a child. Or at least an eternal being that looks like a child. Either one is creepy.
