If you missed some of the games in Week 5 of LCK play, here’s a recap of how all the Korean League of Legends teams are faring.

The LCK has hit its own midway point in Week 5, with each of the teams having finished their first of the two round robins. Now in the back half of the Summer Split, all the Korean League of Legends fans are wondering whether SKT will continue to turn things around, if Griffin won’t slump in the playoffs like they did in spring, and whether teams like Damwon or Sandbox are for real.

More from International Tournaments

10. Jin Air Green Wings (2-20)

Are you shocked? I bet you’re shocked to see that Jin Air is still the worst team in the LCK.

On the menu for Week 5? Just a couple of 0-2 series losses against Afreeca Freecs and Sandbox Gaming. At least they made Afreeca work for it in Game 2 of their series, with Malrang (6/1/9 on Skarner) and Route (6/5/10 on Kalista) holding their own in a 38:00 loss. A similar story against Sandbox, where the game went 37:26 in an 11-kill game that was honestly slower than watching grass grow.

9. Hanwha Life Esports (6-16)

Another team that went 0-4 on the week, Hanwha dropped their matches to SKT with almost no resistance, losing every game in under 28 minutes. Against Gen.G, it was a slightly different story including another snoozer in Game 1 (49:14, eight kills in the game total) and a Game 2 where Lava did his very best to carry on Azir, going 5/1/2 and doing over 10k more damage to champions than the second-most player on his team.

8. KT Rolster (7-17)

Congratulations, KT, you moved up by not doing as horribly as your other brothers in the basement of the LCK. Whereas they went 0-4 in Week 5, you surpassed them both by going 1-4. Bask in that single win over Kingzone boys, you’re slowly but surely separating yourself from the relegation zone!

7. SKT Telecom T1 (13-11)

SKT is on the warpath, having swept both series in Week 5 and winning eight straight games. Yes, they got a cupcake schedule beating Hanwha Life and KT Rolster (in the second round of the Telecom War), but they took care of business easily.

Their longest game of the weekend, Game 1 against KT, went only 30:39 and their worst performance by any player in Week 5 was when Teddy went 2/2/5 in Game 2 of their series against KT; he was the only player to die more than once in a game all week. With Effort having played in seven out of their eight games in the winning streak and performing well, it’s safe to say that the era of SKT Mata might be coming to an end.

6. Gen.G (13-10)

Another team that went 4-0 on the week, it’s shocking that Gen.G haven’t climbed higher on our tier list given who they beat in Week 5. While they were expected to sweep Hanwha Life, taking a 2-0 victory over the best team in Korea, Griffin, was quite unexpected. Of course, it came with some help from an unusual pick in Game 1, but it was still quite impressive to not only beat Griffin but to sweep them.
