A look at the best ADCs in Week 1 of LCS Summer 2020.

ADC

1. Edward “Tactical” Ra (Team Liquid)

TL fans are probably asking “Doublelift who?” after that godly performance by Tactical in Week 1 of LCS Summer 2020. Their rookie, in his first real starting role, popped off with a disgusting 860.4 adjusted DPM (thanks to 751 raw DPM and doing 42.6% of his team’s total damage). He also had 48% of his team’s kills and 88% kill participation, so maybe Liquid will end up being a bot-centric team after all.

2. Ian Victor “FBI” Huang (Golden Guardians)
3. Bae “Bang” Jun-sik (Evil Geniuses)
4. Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen (Cloud9)
5. Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng (TSM)

More from Editorials

While his replacement thrived on his former team, Doublelift struggled mightily in his return to TSM. He had only 53.3% kill participation and 23.9% damage contribution, which were only ahead of Altec for ADCs.

6. Cody “Cody Sun” Sun (100 Thieves)
7. Jason “WildTurtle” Tran (FlyQuest)
8. Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes (CLG)

One of the biggest surprises, to me, this weekend was how well Stixxay played in CLG’s sole win over Immortals. He went 7/0/6 on Miss Fortune and carried the mail for them in terms of damage, doing over 21.7k damage in that game. He was one of only three players to have over 40% of his team’s kills this week (Jiizuke and Tactical were the others).

9. Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen (Dignitas)
10. Johnny “Altec” Ru (Immortals)

Please bring Apollo and Hakuho back, I beg of you Immortals. With the most deaths of any ADC (seven) along with only an 18.7% damage share (the average for ADCs is 28%) Altec was an absolute liability in his Week 1 play. When you get out-damaged by an Ornn while playing Aphelios in a nearly 35-minute game, that is a big problem (and it wasn’t close, he did almost 5k damage less than sOAZ in their loss to CLG).
