LCS Summer 2020 Week 2 is in the books, here is where the teams sit in our  LCS power rankings.

5. CLG (3-1)

Elo: 420 (+59)

It’s a little early to be patting myself on the back for predicting that CLG wouldn’t be nearly as terrible as they were in the Spring Split, but signs are looking up. Taking down a competitive Golden Guardians team with relative ease on Friday gave the team a big boost.

That said, unlike their rivals TSM, they did not take down bottom-feeder Dignitas with ease, which makes me a bit concerned about their consistency. I don’t think they’re going to end up being ahead of teams like TSM or maybe even Golden Guardians by the end of the split, but with three wins they’ve guaranteed to be better than last split.

4. FlyQuest (3-1)

Elo: 425 (+54)

FlyQuest were the ones to get the statement win against TSM this weekend before taking down Dignitas. However, like CLG, they had a lot more trouble taking down a weak Dignitas team than you would like to see from a team looking to push for a Worlds spot. They were behind in gold for the first 21 minutes and it took a massive Baron throw (no surprise, it’s Dignitas) for them to really grab a hold of the game.

Combined with the fact that their only other win on the year was against Immortals, the team still has some big questions to answer. The TSM win is probably going to be huge later in the season when one or two games could separate the teams in playoff seeding.
