Our LCS Summer 2020 Week 3 player power ranking ranks the ADCs.

ADC

1. Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng (TSM)

The king is back on top! After a Spring Split in which he struggled mightily, Doublelift is back atop the pack of North American ADCs in the summer.

A look at his stats from summer compared to spring, it’s easy to see the one area that Doublelift has elevated his game since moving to TSM, his damage output. Compare his 555.3 adjusted DPM from summer (healthily above the league average from ADCs) to his 409.8 aDPM last split, which was worst among all ADCs in the LCS. That also helped bring his gold and KDA numbers up and let him reclaim his spot atop the ADC leaderboards.

2. Ian Victor “FBI” Huang (Golden Guardians)
3. Edward “Tactical” Ra (Team Liquid)
4. Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen (Cloud9)

After an incredible Spring Split that could have earned Zven an LCS MVP award, he seems to have let off the gas slightly so far in summer. He’s getting far fewer resources this split (24.9% versus 26.6% last split) but that’s likely due to his decrease in kill share (from 31.1% to 22.9%). So why is his kill share going down?

More from Editorials

Well, Zven’s damage output, both raw and adjusted, are also down from last split. He’s doing 472 DPM (below average for an ADC) compared to 601 DPM last split. Just looking at last week’s games, he did about 450 DPM on Kalista against Immortals and around 370 DPM on Cassiopeia against Team Liquid. Now those are two low-damage ADCs, sure, but you’d still like to see Zven getting more damage out of those picks.

5. Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen (Dignitas)
6. Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes (CLG)
7. Jason “WildTurtle” Tran (FlyQuest)
8. Brandon “Mash” Phan (FlyQuest)
9. Bae “Bang” Jun-sik (Evil Geniuses)
10. Apollo “Apollo” Price (Immortals)

Why on Earth wasn’t this guy the starting ADC for Immortals this summer? I mean, I get that it’s only two games but a combined scoreline of 9/4/4, resulting in a KDA over 4.00 is far better than anything Altec put up.

11. Cody “Cody Sun” Sun (100 Thieves)
12. Johnny “Altec” Ru (Immortals)
