Let’s look at all the changes coming to TFT in Patch 10.14!

Traits

Star Guardians

"Star Guardians have too much of its power budget in the trait, so we’re pulling that power out and putting it back into the champions. This should allow some of them to succeed in other comps while maintaining the power of well-built Star Guardian compositions. Star Guardian Mana share: 25/40/55 ⇒ 15/25/45 Poppy Starting/Total Mana: 60/100 ⇒ 50/90 Zoe Starting/Total Mana: 70/100 ⇒ 40/80 Neeko Starting/Total Mana: 75/150 ⇒ 25/100 Syndra Starting/Total Mana: 0/60 ⇒ 0/40 Soraka Starting/Total Mana: 50/125 ⇒ 50/120 Janna Starting/Total Mana: 50/130 ⇒ 30/100"

The biggest outcome is that Star Guardian champions will become stronger independent of the trait and Star Guardian comps will be significantly weaker. Among the most significant mana changes are Zoe (who loses 30 starting mana but now is worth it to get a Blue Buff) and Syndra (now likely going to be very strong with Blue Buff).

Celestial

"Healing: 15/40/99% ⇒ 20/45/150%"

Celestial has been really struggling after the removal of Kassadin, which wasn’t replaced by any new unit. This really hurt the comp and basically means that unless Xayah or Protectors are strong the trait is very underwhelming.

Cybernetic

"Bonus Health and Attack Damage: 350 & 40/600 & 75 ⇒ 300 & 35/550 & 70"

Cybernetic is a great fall-back comp. It’s very flexible, has multiple carries (Vayne, Irelia, Lucian), and can be built easily in the early-to-mid game. This 50 health and 5 damage nerf is significant, but I think the comp is so versatile it’ll still function well.

Sorcerer

"Spell Power: 20/45/75 ⇒ 20/40/70"

The Sorcerer Riven comp is probably what is spurring this change, but it also drops the power of the Candyland comp (which is still viable, though certainly not S tier).

Tier 1 Champions

Jarvan

"Health: 650 ⇒ 700 Attack Damage: 50 ⇒ 55 Mana: 50/100 ⇒ 40/80 Ageless Standard Attack Speed Bonus: 0.65/0.75/0.85 ⇒ 0.75/0.85/0.95"

These are quite significant buffs to Jarvan, particularly on the mana and the attack speed bonus from his Ageless Standard. This immediately makes me think that a Protector comp with Jarvan as the frontline/support will be very strong.

Xayah

"Attack Speed: 0.8 ⇒ 0.9"

I see a Xayah buff and I immediately think of the Shredder comp. With few item changes and nerfs coming to Jinx and Vayne, hyper roll Xayah could be back in the meta.
