Maybe CLG is the best team for Licorice.

3. Counter Logic Gaming

Put simply, Counter Logic Gaming has nothing.

The team performed poorly in both spring and summer which led to the release of coaches Weldon and Ssong. Everything is on the table for the team. They need a head coach, the need star players, they need a fresh start. What better fresh start would their be than signing Licorice?

Pobelter and Licorice as the two solo laners are already a decent core to a team on paper. If CLG were able to add a quality coach like Reapered and pepper in some up and coming NA talent they could very well find themselves in the playoffs. Even being just outside the playoffs would be an improvement for CLG after the 2020 season they had.

Players like Smoothie and Wiggly don’t even need to be replaced if you believe coaching was the fundamental issue in 2020, and we’ve seen these players be great in their role at different points of their careers. CLG also has a large amount of financial support behind them from The Madison Square Garden Group and is reportedly nowhere near spending as much as other teams in the league.

Signing Licorice would be a great way for CLG to hit the reset button and come into 2021 looking to make the climb back to relevancy.
