FPX, two years removed from their World Championship, is still looking to find the final piece to their Exodia. After trying Khan last year, they sought out another highly-skilled Korean top laner in Nuguri, who is probably the best top laner in the world. The rest of the lineup, which has been together for years, remains as solid as ever and this team will be in the hunt for another LPL title.

Jungler Kanavi is their star and has a strong claim to the title of the best jungler in the world.

JDG has no weaknesses. Go through the lineup from the top down and find a player who isn’t in the top five for LPL players. Maybe you could argue that for Yagao or LvMao, but they’re most certainly sixth-best. With an unchanged lineup as well, this team is poised to build on and improve their finish from last year.

It was a massive shock and disappointment that Invictus Gaming didn’t make it to Worlds last year. Rookie and TheShy are too good to be kept out of the biggest tournament in the World. In addition to those two, Ning is a steady jungler, Baolan is a great leader, and Puff continues to improve.

The two-time defending LPL champions, it’s not a stretch to predict that TES will emerge atop the league once again. Just like JDG, this team has zero weaknesses, with almost every player on this team being top three in their position. LPL is not the goal for TES; avenging their disappointing Worlds run is.
