MSI 2015 Championship: EDG vs SKT in depth recap
Game 5: EDG 3-2
So here we are. All the drama that the MSI saw came down to this. EDG vs. SKT in a match up for the ages. Perhaps the worst thing that could ever happen to EDG did, Faker picked Leblanc, his best champ, in the picks and bans phase. Not only did EDG forget to ban Leblanc, but it just so happens that Faker has been itching to play his main since he returned to the MSI.

The laning phase, saw domination from EDG. It seemed their Faker-anxiety had worn off like an extended Baron buff. After solid team fights and getting the carries for SKT out of position, they had a pretty solid lead going into late game.
SKT tried and tried to defend Baron, then inhibitor turrets, and finally nexus turrets after digging themselves a pretty big hole. They did a solid job considering the difference of gold in late game between the two teams. But they could only do so much. They needed a major play from someone, so their hopes at winning the MSI could stay alive.
Unfortunately, not even Faker could save them, as the mid god was issued his second death of the entire MSI Finals. EDG was then crowned the first ever, MSI champions.

Clearlove was named the 2015 MSI MVP, which was well deserved.
And EDG won the Championship!
