Free Champion Rotation: March 1-7
The latest free champion rotation begins today and ends on March 7th. Check out which 10 champions are available during that time.
It’s Tuesday, and with every Tuesday comes a group of 10 champions that everyone in League of Legends can access for free during the next week.

The free rotation that just ended consisted of: Aatrox, Annie, Brand, Elise, Kog’Maw, Lulu, Malphite, Morgana, Rumble and Jhin. It was a really exciting week for the free rotation since that group had a couple of top picks in the current meta, and it even had the newest champion. Hopefully you had the time to try some of those guys out.
While those champions are out of the rotation, 10 new champions have taken their place: Braum, Caitlyn, Garen, Heimerdinger, Jinx, Katarina, Lee Sin, Nauilus, Nidalee and Viktor.
At first glance, it might not seem as good of a group as last week’s, but this is actually a very exciting group of champions. Jinx, Katarina, Lee Sin, Nidalee and Heimerdinger are always fun champions to rock for a few games. However, there is one sleeper champion in this group, and that’s Nautilus.
If you haven’t noticed, Nautilus has become a top pick in solo queue and professional play. As it currently stands according to the statistics from champion.gg, Nautilus has the highest win rate in all of League of Legends at 55.43 percent, and that’s even with a high pick rate of 10.68 percent.
Those numbers seem pretty overpowered, and that’s because Nautilus kind of is at this point. He is a champion that can build full tank while still doing crazy amounts of damage, especially in the early laning phase. And once laning phase is over, most Nautilus players will buy Zz’Rot Portal so they can keep a split push going while grouping with their team. Oh, and yes, Nautilus is still a monster in team fights with all of his crowd control.
So make sure to go give these free champions a try. There are a lot of classic champions in the mix that are always fun to play, and then there is the champion that is in arguably the best place of anyone in League of Legends.
